Greek language classes and translation service
Do you want to learn, or improve your Greek?
Greek language is the oldest in Europe. Today, Greek forms a large part of the vocabulary of any Indo-European language.
The Greek language classes and groups for beginners and all levels start on Tuesday 06/11 and will take place every second Tuesday for 2 hours (19:30-21:30). The classes are free of charge for the members and a donation to the society for the non-members.
The classes will be held at the Southsea Community Centre, First Floor - Room 3, St Paul’s Square, Kings Street, which is in the second crossroads after the Gym in St Paul’s on the left.
The Hellenic and Cypriot Society it’s also offering a translation service of any document to all of our members, the prices will be considerably low. The translation is from Greek to English and vice versa. 3.7 Sports
The Hellenic and Cypriot Society organise and participates in University sports activities. This year we will be participating as an independent team in the football University league. Our football team will be competing in an inter-society tournament in Portsmouth. The competition is very high as our team will participate in a high-standard tournament, so we plan to have trainings on Wednesdays and matches on Saturdays.
