Greek Traditional Café (kafeneio)
Greek Traditional Café (kafeneio); once or twice a month. Is a casual monthly meeting for our members and non-members to mingle and enjoy Hellenic/Cypriot coffee, frappe, freddo, espresso, cappuccino, filter coffee, tea, soft drinks, ouzo and wine with meze, and homemade delicacies such as sandwich’s and sweets to savour. In addition, there will be Greek/English music (sometimes with live music) and several competitions (Every Friday will be different one, such as, backgammon, pilota, poker, and biriba nights) and games such as board, backgammon and card games, monopoly and scrabble available for anyone. The drinks and the delicacies will be charged additionally but the prices will be considerably low as a contribution to the Society.
The event will be held at the Southsea Community Centre, Ground Floor - Café, St Paul’s Square, Kings Street, which is in the second crossroads after the Gym in St Paul’s on the left.
