Constitution

MEMBERSHIP
1. Membership of the Society must be open to all University of Portsmouth students regardless of ethnic origin, religion or gender. All students must complete a membership form when they join a society and pay their fees.
2. Associate membership is also open to non-members of the University of Portsmouth at the Committee's discretion. Associate members pay the same fee as full members, but have no voting rights for changes in the constitution and committee elections.
3. Only student members are allowed to take part in the democratic processes of the club (i.e. vote and stand for posts on the committee)
4. The Committee may at any time grant an honorary membership (free of charge) to a person (within or without the University of Portsmouth), who has made a serious contribution towards Hellenism or the Society. The Committee must unanimously agree upon any such proposal.

COMPOSITION OF THE COMMITTEE
The Committee consists of a President, a Secretary, a Treasurer, a Vice President, two Cultural Events Officers, two Public Relations Officers, a Web design Officer, a Sports Officer, and a Substitute Member. The right to represent the Society on formal occasions is subject to te following order: President, Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, Substitute Member, Cultural Events Officers, Public Relations Officers, Web Design Officer, and Sports Officer.
